One More sleep til Buxton

...............Well for Mummy and Daddy anyway as I'll also have my naps! (That's assuming that I let them sleepof course!)
Today I am doing the hardest job of the lot so far which is picking which of my toys to take with me. Mummy is being really mean and saying I am only allowed one bag full, plus a couple of toys in the car with me - I want to take all of them. IT'S NOT FAIR!!!! Doyday will definatly be coming of course, as will nighttime bear, but...........Choosing the rest is proving to be one of the most difficult decisions I have had to make in my whole life as I know Buxton will be so much fun that I don't want any of my toys to miss out. The only other difficult decision like this I have had to make was which teddy to take to the teddy bear's picnic at Noah's Ark! (I didn't have Doyday then and so I took Monkey and First Christmas Winnie-The-Pooh.)
Apart from me having to choose just one measly bag full of toys, Mummy and Daddy are getting stressed with the packing as they have just realised how much stuff they have on the list to pack (mostly mine) and how much they have still got to do. They are also worried about how to get it all in the car! I'm sure they'll manage, and if not Mummy will have to unpack some of her clothes to make more room in her suitcase because I am definatly not taking any less toys!!

OOOH I CAN'T WAIT TIL TOMORROW!! I'm not looking forward to the journey much (though Mummy says that if, like her, I sleep for most of it then it will go really quickly,) but I am really looking forward to meeting all of Mummy and Daddy's Savoynet and other Buxton friends and also exploring the area, especially crawling round the festival club.

Well, I'm going to get back to playing and saying "Goodbye for now" to all the toys that I have to leave at home. :(

Roll on tomorrow.

Big snuggles.

1 week to go.

Well there is now only one week to go until my first trip to the G&S festival in Buxton (well, unless you count last year when I was in mummy's tummy and smuggled into Castle Adamant!) and I am getting very excited! (So's Doyday my special donkey friend! [Eeyore is Mummy's!])

Mummy has started to frantically wash all our clothes and I am trying my best not to get my clothes too dirty in the meantime but.......well, I'm only little! I have a new suitcase set of my very own and mummy has already packed a few special outfits for me. I also keep getting fed sausage rolls for some reason. Mummy and Daddy tell me that this is very important and something to do with Grand Duke and that, had I been eating solids earlier, it should really have started 6 months ago! (munch munch, I've just been handed another one because I mentioned GD, oh well they're nice!)

I'm really looking forward to meeting all the Savoynetters in Buxton as I have been told they will make a huge fuss of me (or else) and can't wait to see a bit of the rehearsals! Of course I won't be going to all of the rehearsals as this would not be fair, so I will be spending lots of time with my grandparents while Mummy and Daddy rehearse (YEY) and also while they are at the theatre in the evenings! (Although I have been told that, if I am good, I may be able to go to the festival club sometimes and even go to see some things in the Paxton and Singing from the bandstand - I'd better start learning the songs!)

Well time for me to sign off for now as Mummy says I need to be changed so we can go out! I'll update soon.

Dribbly kisses.
